can anyone help with how to figure out the value of "X" or just how to set it up so i can find the answer geometry
@Natasha18 can you help
Ummm let me think about it. I start geometry this semester so I don't know much unless it's basic geometry.
yeah this is honors so if you can that would be amazing if you cant can you look at a few more questions to help me with
@nincompoop can you help
I looked around for some help and I found the equation 3x-1=2(x+5) Solve for x.
x = 16
The way I see the problem is that the top line is half of the bottom one. Again this is what someone else came up with. Maybe seeing the equation will help you figure out how to set these type of problems up.
i get x=-4
hold on i found something i messed up on
but i get 11 not 16
@Natasha18
x + 5 = 3x - 1 divided by 2 sorry x= 11 my bad 11+5 = 16 16= 3 * 11 - 1 /2 3* 11 = 33 33-1 = 32 32/2 = 16 16=16 x=11
@stuck-help did you use the equation I sent? It looked right to me, and in that equation 'x' does equal 11.
i meant to put 11 i put sixteen cause thats the final answer i mixed it up
I knew what 'x' was I just have no idea how I got it lol
i just did all the work above
ok then i got the question then thank you @Natasha18 can you help with a few more
i can if she cant i love this stuff
If I can.. I'm not horrible at Geometry, but I'm not the best either.If I can't, definitely let @Lighthouseluver help. They obviously know what they're doing :)
