All of these are techniques used for persuasion. Logos includes the use of facts and statistics for credibility. Ethos usually uses anecdotes or other techniques relating to the writer, or speaker, that gives them credibility. Pathos uses emotion to bring the persuasion closer to the reader, sometimes with second-person pronouns such as, "you." This may include invoking guilt or thoughtfulness in the reader for the purpose of changing their mind about a subject.
