Medeco bought goods for $250 on credit. Medeco returned $50 worth of goods. Terms of the sale were 2/10, n/30. If Medeco pays the amount owed within the discount period, what is the amount it should pay? A. $250 B. $204 C. $196 D. $200
Explain what 2/10 means in this context.
That's what I'm confused on
How can you be confused? It's just a definition. 2/10 -- Pay it within 10 days and you get a 2% discount.
Okay.. so then n/30?
We don't care on this problem. It just means 30 days or else!
Okay, where does that leave us. 1) Buy $250 worth of stuff. 2) Return $50 worth of stuff. How much is now owed? How much discount can we get if we pay quickly?
why did you report me i was just saying what i thought it would be no need to be rude
For the record: 1) You were not reported by anyone. 2) You gave only the answer. This is 100% proscribed in the Code of Conduct. Don't do it. 3) Your warning was 100% justified and you should learn from it, rather than argue about it. 4) Even if you were reported, there is 0% justification for you reporting someone for giving a legitimate report about you. This is just retaliatory foolishness. 5) I don't see anything rude, anywhere in this situation, excepting perhaps your response to your legitimate warning. Please do better. Let's see if Jake will answer my last question.
50 is owed so we have 200 worth of stuff with a 2% discount
That's it. So, what's 98% of 200?
