can someone please help me answer this question? It's really easy but I just can't figure out the answer. Is the statement below a prediction, inference, or opinion? Ben hasn't turned any work in for the last three lessons, and his teacher is not pleased.

Well Witch One Do You Think It Is?

OpenStudy (abbycross167):

well I'm thinking an opinion or an inference

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You Are Correct It Is Inference :)

OpenStudy (abbycross167):

really? Thank you very much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No Problem!

OpenStudy (abbycross167):

@jayjaysimmer I am supposed to give a reason why I think this is an inference, would you mind telling me which reason sounds better?

OpenStudy (abbycross167):

This is an inference because Ben’s teacher knows that he has not turned in any work for the last three lessons. Or This is an inference because Ben’s teacher has evidence that he has not turned in any work for the last three lessons.

Sorry I Wasn't Online. And Both Of Those Reasons Are Good :)

OpenStudy (abbycross167):

thank you very much! :)
