OpenStudy (cat2211):

A rabbit had 4 babies. 3 were brown and 1 was white. What is the phenotypic ratio of the babies?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Hi cat! Phenotypic ratio is simply the ratio of phenotypic characters. You can understand phenotypic character as physical appearance. For example, if a mother has 3 child in which two has curly hair while one has straight hair then the phenotypic ratio here will be 2:1 for curly vs straight. Similarly in the given question rabbit has 3 brown and 1 white baby. Can you tell me the phenotypic ratio now?
