I have an EXCELLENT question... Why do people NOT follow the rules, like all the time on OpenStudy??? Like EX: People ask questions that are not really questions about school or on topic here, and they just start saying random or inappropriate things, and posting inappropriate pictures, or off school topic pictures. There should be a stop to this. Thank You for your time clicking on this and reading this :)
Because they are disobeying the rules(CoC). Mods and ambis are trying their best to keep this site appropriate and school related.
Ok, Thank You for reading and replying
Anytime ;)
Well anyone can keep the site in check :D its just every single site has trolls etc so we as OpenStudiers need to bound together to help keep the site good by reporting everything you see that is against the CoC and talk to some people you see who break the rules and explain to them why it is bad etc.
Yea. And Thank You for your reply :)
"Why do people NOT follow the rules"... 1) They did not know there were rules in the first place ^_^ [most people don't read the terms and conditions unless prompted to by someone else] at which point we should be nice to them and kindly point out that there \(are\) rules ^_^ 2) (as many users are Americans) They believe they have "freedoms of speech" that allow them to get away with saying anything ^_^" but this belief is not true because by using this website in the first place, they agreed to follow the site's rules 3) They simply don't care about the rules 4) They want the attention there seems to quite a few young users on this site that attempt to use this site as a platform to court other users instead of studying In any case, please report any such incidences of rule-breaking so that the Moderators of this site can take care of it :) Thank you for bring up this intriguing questions! :D
Thank You for your response, i'm asking this question because i just joined yesterday :)

Thank You , and how did you do that? that looks so cool!
it is called LaTeX it is kinda what happens when you click on the "Equation" button below, but some users have been able to play with it to make pretty cool stuff :) I believe @Jaynator495 has a tutorial on how to stuff like that :P http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/5480badde4b03e22bc89688c
It's LaTex ^.^ `\(~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\Huge{\color{red}{\heartsuit}\color{orange}{\bigstar}\color{yellow}{\heartsuit}\color{green}{\bigstar}\color{blue}{\heartsuit}\color{purple}{\bigstar}\color{hotpink}{\heartsuit}}\)\(\Huge\bf\color{#FF0000}W\color{#FF4900}e\color{#FF9200}l\color{#FFDB00}c\color{#FFff00}o\color{#B6ff00}m\color{#6Dff00}e\color{#24ff00}~\color{#00ff00}t\color{#00ff49}o\color{#00ff92}~\color{#00ffDB}O\color{#00ffff}p\color{#00DBff}e\color{#0092ff}n\color{#0049ff}S\color{#0000ff}t\color{#2400ff}u\color{#6D00ff}d\color{#B600ff}y\color{#FF00ff}!\)\(~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\Huge{\color{red}{\heartsuit}\color{orange}{\bigstar}\color{yellow}{\heartsuit}\color{green}{\bigstar}\color{blue}{\heartsuit}\color{purple}{\bigstar}\color{hotpink}{\heartsuit}}\)\(\Large\bf\color{Lime}{Please,\ don't\ hesitate\ to\ ask\ questions!}\)\(\Large\bf\color{magenta}{We're\ here\ to\ help!}\Large\color{magenta}{\ddot\smile}\)` copy and paste this :-) you can also go to the link @jigglypuff314 gave
cool thanks!
jiggly ^2) (as many users are Americans) They believe they have "freedoms of speech" that allow them to get away with saying anything ^_^" but this belief is not true because by using this website in the first place, they agreed to follow the site's rules^ welp, you are talking like if only america have right of speech, which is false. so correct thing would be removing ^ (as many users are Americans)^
If We consider Open study as a one big township (It is actually :) ) ,every township has got its own set of the so called 'Lawbreakers' who think the rules are meant to be broken :p and there are also a set of the so called 'Cops' who capture them and punish...so our site has got the MODS who are the cops and some lawbreaking users whom they punish when found guilty :p . The witness of the crimes made by these people are the users who 'Report' the crime made by them :p Strict, Active Moderators and some valuable contribution from the 'witnesses' can greatly improve the site; If we think it in this manner, it very simple :)

@AlexandervonHumboldt2 My apologies for the misconception ^_^" I meant it to be more that americans seem to have the "I can say anything I want and get away with it" belief :3
:\
1. They Most probably didn't take their time to read it. 2. They don't seem to really care. 3. They might not know how to read long things/contracts. 4. They might think it's so bada$$ to not follow rules and breaking them somehow is just so cool. (don't see the logic)
HEY Americans don't believe in that! #OffendedABit
if you see them do that just flag them is that too much to ask
