D is correct :)

@skyler_10586 This is a poorly worded question. In actual environments all of these species would be distributed in a regular, albeit complex, pattern. However, the reason we go with "D" has to do with method of distribution and lifestyle. Creosote bushes have seeds and we can find the average distance seeds travel from the mother tree. Further, and maybe more importantly, of all the examples listed, only the creosote bush is non-motile. This greatly limits distributions and removes short term environmental conditions that can alter motile species population distributions.
