OpenStudy (darthvader2900):

What is the value of the function y=3x-1 when x=-1? A. –8 B. –4 C. 2 D. 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b?

OpenStudy (darthvader2900):

How?

OpenStudy (xmissalycatx):

I'll show you what you need to do! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the reason why is because -3 multiplied by -1 (which equals "x") will give you -3 then you are subtracting so it'll just go lower. basically a positive number multiplied by a negative will always be a negative then subtracting will only make it go lower

OpenStudy (darthvader2900):

Okay, thank you.
