OpenStudy (celinegirl):

Which graph best represents the function f(x) = 4(1.5)x?

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm a have to go with the last one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i can't explain just did it on a calculator it looks very similar then the others though

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

Yeah I used a calculator also.. they all seem alike.. Idk but I'm thinking the first one maybe

OpenStudy (retireed):

No calculator is needed .... what is 1.5^0 1.5 to zero power? For that matter what is any number to the zero power?

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

0?

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

@retirEEd

OpenStudy (retireed):

No. Maybe you should enter 23^0 or any other number ^0 into your calculator and tell me what you get.

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

basically 1.

OpenStudy (retireed):

Is not basically 1, it is one. So if any number to the zero power is 1 then f(x) = 4(1.5)x = 4 *1 = 4 There is only one graph that has a y-intercept of 4 (y = 4 when x is zero)

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

and that would be D
