Lungs moves gasses out of the body. The intestines move waste.

yes. the lungs are responsible for bringing in oxygen and pumping out carbon dioxide, which is by far the largest "waste gas" by volume. interesting fact: once you digest a calorie, the primary way you get rid of the carbon atoms (thus losing weight) is by breathing them out! Want to lose weight? Spend your time doing things that cause you to breathe more often.
