I am supposed to write a short story but I don't know what subject to work on! please help!

Write a short story about like one of your fears for example if you are afraid of ghosts you should make a short story about a ancester that has died and is haunting you

And write how they are haunting you noises, smells, warmth or cold, incidents that happend and cool details about what she looked like how she/he died and stuff
