r/6= 5 2/3 should be simplified first, in the sense that you will eliminate those pesky fractions. First, convert the mixed number 5 2/3 to an improper fraction with denominator 3. Multiply 5 by 3 and add 2 to the result. Divide this last result by 3. To remove the 6 from r/6, multiply both sides of your re-written equation by 6. Show all of your work, please.
