1.) The Big Four are also known as the Council of Four. It was composed of Woodrow Wilson of the United States, David Lloyd George of Britain, Vittorio Emanuele Orlando of Italy, and Georges Clemenceau of France.

The Treaty of Versailles was between the allies and Germany. The other Central Powers got separate treaties.
The big four are listed on the fingers of the hand, minus Japan. The guy on the far right is Woodrow Wilson.
The Treaty forced Germany to pay reparations for starting the war and limited the size of it's army.
That set up Germany's new government to fail. They couldn't make the payments and have a decent economy. Which, in turn, made a ripe situation for somebody like Hitler to come around and convince people that the rest of the world is picking on Germany. Germany needs to socialize and give me all the power so we can get these bullies. And show them how great we are. And it's all the Jews fault so let's kill em.
