Any one of Aesop's fables would work. http://read.gov/aesop/001.html These might be to simple or short. I don't know your requirements. Hope I helped :)

They are different. A fable is a completely made up story usually that has a moral or teaches a lesson. A folklore originates from a true story, but through the years as it's told over and over, it is changed.
