1 is 80% increase. It can be answered by finding either 10% of 50 or 1 % of 50. Then multiply the answer by whatever the percent is. Such as multplying 5 times 8 since 5 is 10% of 50, then adding on the new number to the original. #2 is 30% decrease. You can find it by applying the method from #1 but instead of adding you must subtract. #3 is 35%. You can apply the same formula. #4 is again 35%
