http://prntscr.com/9nbgoh what is the precipitation?

OpenStudy (unicornsession):

the action or process of precipitating a substance from a solution. rain, snow, sleet, or hail that falls to the ground.

OpenStudy (gokuporter):

where do you find that on the map

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Precipitation takes after condensation. It mostly is when a cloud releases a substance, which can be a solid, and or liquid, and it falls to the ground! Like: - Snow -Hail -Rain -Sleet Sometimes, 'snow' doesn't make it towards the ground in the state it starts out as. It can melt into rain before it touches the ground! FUN FACT: It doesn't snow in Florida because of the saltiness in the air. Salt is HARD to freeze, therefore it never actually snowed much there. (It did snow once though, but was melted quickly). How does it retrieve the saltiness? Well, by the oceans of course! Remember, water cycle! Hope I helped! ;)
