Well i have to do a short creative writing assignment about it but im completely out of ideas. I just need suggestions for what i would write about. I have to create the diary of a member of George Custer’s 7th Cavalry and it has to have at least three entries, with each one being at least one paragraph long.

im doing it in chronological order, so i wrote the last entry and in it the soldier is discussing the plan for the attack but im not sure what to write for the first two entries

It might be interesting to write about the Indians point of view, how a leader predicted the attack so they were ready for Custer. But that's not your assignment.

So, back on track.

You could talk about the traveling like going to the place of the battle in on journal and end with seeing the Indians. Like one entry about travelling to the Indian camp, and then have one paragraph about how upset you were that you were going to attack an unsuspecting Indian tribe. Then you could talk about the battle plans.

This is a difficult assignment. If you don't like my ideas, hopefully they'll spark some more of your own! :D I would love to read them once your done, if you want to.
