Can I have help with geometry?
Sure what is your question?
To prove each statement by contradiction, do the following: A. Assume the contradiction is false, write the negated assumption. B. Show that the negated assumption. C. Make a valid conclusion about the original statement. For any real number x, 2( 10x +3) not equal 5(4x-3)

Can someone help please?
is there anymore to that problem?
nope just that
hmm.Can you send me a screenshot of the original? Hit CTRL, WINDOWS KEY, & the print screen button at the same time for a windows computer. @mary212129
yeah hold on
here it is

So to solve a problem by contradiction, you take the statement you want to prove and assume it is false. For this problem, you want to show that for any real number x, 2(10x + 3) is not equal to 5(4x - 3) So we want to assume this is false: Suppose there is a real number x such that 2(10x + 3) = 5(4x - 3). Then we want to find a reason this can't be true. In this case: Then for that value x, 20x + 6 = 20x - 15 Therefore 6 = -15 6 is not equal to -15 Therefore, there is no value of x for which 2(10x + 3) = 5(4x - 3).
so how did u get -15
Expanding 5(4x - 3) 5(4x - 3) = 5*4x - 5*3 = 20x - 15
okay i see now
mostly just distruting
distributing
