Having some trouble figuring out where to start with this problem. It's been a few years since my last math class and I'm struggling with this a bit. Would very much appreciate the help and or advice. 1) Consider an election district where there were 6372 registered voters and for a given election, 3560 of the registered voters voted. a) What percent of the registered voters actually cast a vote? b) If there were 10,000 people in the district, what percent of the population voted in the election? c) What percent of the population registered to vote?

a)3560/6372 *100

This is a stupid question, but what does the *100 mean? Sorry >_<
