u have to use absolute value to solve this. The distince from -6 to 2 is 4. u need to ignore the x axsis because it is the same dont listen to this guy he dosn't know what he is doing

Well if you do something to one side of the equasion you have to do it to ther so... I-6I=6 now do it to -2.... I-2I=2 so do da math now
