After reading the novel, "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas," I've been asked to select three key events, and explain why they were included, and the author's message. Any help would be terrific, I'm having a bit of an instance of forgetfulness.
do you have any idea of what the key events are?
After doing a bit of reviewing, I was able to pick two key events, though I'm looking for a last key event. Namely, I'm looking for events with a deeper meaning behind them. I'm considering the final event I'll choose being either: - Bruno refusing to stick up for Shmuel when confronted by Kotler. (or) - Bruno going to the other side of the fence.
I think Bruno going to the other side of the fence is a huge key event.
I agree, I'll most likely choose this one. I'm just trying to find the deeper meaning behind it. I'm most likely going to use Bruno's childlike misunderstanding of tragedy as the theme for this event.
the theme for that event would be perfect. That's exactly what happened.
Alright, thanks for the help! I'm more confident in this answer now.
Good!(: glad I could help.
