well I think it's like this
10,000 • 0.20 = 2000
subtract 3000 from 10,000 can you get 7000
7000 ÷ 2000 = 3.5
2000 • 3 = 6000
10,000 - 6000 = 4000 so the bike could go 3 years being worth more than 3000, but less than 3000 it would last 4 years
