OpenStudy (roadjester):

I think i see what you need

OpenStudy (annie12m):

you can help me?

OpenStudy (roadjester):

Okay so each item sold gets you 3 dollars right, no matter if it's energy bars, baked chips, whatever? So the number you need will be your variable, let's call it "x". Therefore the money you would earn for the number is 3x. You want 3x to get you more than 500 dollars. BUT

OpenStudy (roadjester):

If you can somehow get x=200 you would get an extra 100 dollars. So, this is a piecewise function
