Triangle Theorem

Okay the theorem you should know is that the other side is greater than the difference of the two sides and smaller than the sum of the two sides.
So, the answer is 4.2 < 7.8
I understand 6.0-1.8=4.2; 6.0+1.8=7.8 :)
sum of any 2 sides has to be larger than the remaining side to be able to construct a triangle
So, that would mean this triangle would exist.

The sides are 7.0 and 8.0
I would think so
What do you think, Dan?
yes, all you have to remember is that 2 sides total greater than the remaining side works fine in that triangle
Got it

Like the range of the missing side, using that simple idea gives x + 6 > 1.8 x + 1.8 > 6 x < 6 + 1.8 x > 4.2 x < 7.8
