2x-(3*0.6x+2.7) HELP
First multiply 3 by 0.6.
sorry I was too tired yesterday
1.8
Simplifying 2x + -1(3 * 0.6x + 2.7) = 0 Multiply 3 * 0.6 2x + -1(1.8x + 2.7) = 0 Reorder the terms: 2x + -1(2.7 + 1.8x) = 0 2x + (2.7 * -1 + 1.8x * -1) = 0 2x + (-2.7 + -1.8x) = 0 Reorder the terms: -2.7 + 2x + -1.8x = 0 Combine like terms: 2x + -1.8x = 0.2x -2.7 + 0.2x = 0 Solving -2.7 + 0.2x = 0 Solving for variable 'x'. Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right. Add '2.7' to each side of the equation. -2.7 + 2.7 + 0.2x = 0 + 2.7 Combine like terms: -2.7 + 2.7 = 0.0 0.0 + 0.2x = 0 + 2.7 0.2x = 0 + 2.7 Combine like terms: 0 + 2.7 = 2.7 0.2x = 2.7 Divide each side by '0.2'. x = 13.5 Simplifying x = 13.5
No I need an expression
ohhh
@boldjon You can't just say the expression equals zero without that information being previously stated. The expression just needs to be simplified.
A.-2.5x B.2.5x C.0.2x +2.7 0.2x -2.7
