That is the full question and they give you the answers with it and it says the answer is heredity. The choices were

Well, true cells are cells that have a nucleus, organelles and other cell structures and processes and heredity is the passing on of physical or mental characteristics genetically from one generation to another. Could it mean that true cells are created via meiosis (and therefore heredity)?

that answer is incorrect, its not heredity, i searched a bit and what i see everywhere is endosymbiosis and it makes perfect sense
