That would be incorrect... first off find the area of the larger triangle... so we would input it into the area of a triangle formula...\[A=\frac{ (2+2+5)\times3.5 }{ 2 }\] we add these numbers becuase they make up the entire length of the larger triangle..

Correct ^^ Now we find the area of the next triangle at the bottom right corner...so \[A=\frac{ 5\times2 }{ 2 }\]
