Please provide all necessary information in the very first post. Among other things, this means that you also show YOUR work in that very first post..

I might have to look up how to solve it and also can you help me save some time by typing what it is asking?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you just help? Lmfaoo i gotta determine whether each equation is a linear equation. To 4x-2y=-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are the equations?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

You would have to change the standard form equation into slope-intercept form to determine if linear... Tutorial: https://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra/two-var-linear-equations/standard-form/v/standard-form-to-slope-intercept-form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x-2y=-1 can you also explain how I'm suppose to solve this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hello??

563blackghost (563blackghost):

To be able to get the two points of the standard form equation you would first need to know how y=mx+b goes to ax+by=c now when slope-intercept form gets turned into standard form the y-intercept and the x-intercept would switch signs...for example...|dw:1452473336432:dw| please be patient it takes a while to write down explanations ^^
