homeostasis: relatively constant internal physical and chemical conditions that organisms maintain

I was studying this and my friend went "What did one Shakespearean cell say to the other? Homeo, homeo, where art thou constant internal conditions?". I've never face palmed at a pun harder in my life but I never forgot what that word meant after that XD
