If you were to graph this situation, with time (in months) on the horizontal axis and number or orders on the vertical axis, you'd get two straight lines. These lines intersect at a particular spot. Can you determine where? (in other words, in which month? There might be an easier way to solve this problem (orders in = orders out).

@millie2305 The boss needs to know that the number of orders IN increases by 1 per month and the orders OUT increases by 2 per month. The function for a graph would be f(x)=0.5x+2.5.
