Which three ordered pairs complete the table to give solutions of the equation y= -5x? A. (-2,-10), (0,0) and (2,10) B. (-2,-10), (0,0), and (2,-10) C. (-2,10), (0,-5) and (2,-10) D. (-2,10), (0,0) and (2,-10)

D would complete the equation because y= -5x is the equation. Plugging in for x will give you the y's. y=-5(-2) is equal to y=10. With this answer, A and B are ruled out. y=-5(0) is the same as y=0. This leaves you with D, but just to be sure, check the third set of ordered pairs. y=-5(2) is equal to y=-10. This confirms that the correct answer is D
