Have you tried posting in the English section?
ye
Also : LURID: very vivid in color, especially so as to create an unpleasantly harsh or unnatural effect. "lurid food colorings" synonyms: bright, brilliant, vivid, glaring, shocking, fluorescent, flaming, dazzling, intense; More (of a description) presented in vividly shocking or sensational terms, especially giving explicit details of crimes or sexual matters. "the more lurid details of the massacre were too frightening for the children"
Based on how google uses a massacre in the example, I'm guessing C would be your best bet, as none of the others seem upsetting or horrifying.
ok thanks @wilsondanielle
