I need help writing an introductory paragraph for my essay on racism in education. My thesis is: If blacks were always given an equal opportunity in education, then they would succeed in society.

Trick is to have you hook saying a quote or anything like that. Have 2-3 sentence that relate to your hook and thesis. hope that helps :)
