OpenStudy (jollypikachu300):

WILL FAN HELP Which structural characteristic is found in both plant and animal cells? A. lysosome B. mitochondria C. chloroplast D. cell wall

OpenStudy (flcon04):

Medal if i helped.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^ I can confirm that it's B. A plant cell doesn't need lysosomes, because it's vacuoles do the same job. A chloroplast isn't needed in animal cells because animals don't get their energy from photosynthesis. The cell wall isn't need for animal cells either because they don't need the rigid structure but DO need the flexibility. That leaves the mitochondria (AKA the power house of the cell!). Every cell needs energy :) hope I helped.
