OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Well. Here is my failure attempt at "Someone Like You" by Adele ...I got bored lol http://vocaroo.com/i/s1gPhokWuWKx

OpenStudy (bossimbacon):

I think you did beautifully! ^-^ Nice Job! Your voice tone is a very unique!

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Thank you! ^w^ @Bossimbacon ^ luv the username lol

OpenStudy (bossimbacon):

But I couldn't tell if you were a girl or a young boy LOL

OpenStudy (bossimbacon):

I think your a girl though?

OpenStudy (bossimbacon):

you're*

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Yes XD

OpenStudy (bossimbacon):

Are you also open to some critique as well?

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Yup XD

OpenStudy (bossimbacon):

Well let me tell you this first and foremost. If you really want to experience singing to its full potential you need to be able to lose yourself in the music, but alot of singers such as you and me have this habit of letting our thought get to our enjoyment of the song, worrying about how this note sounds and when messing up on one part keeping it in our head throughout the song, singing isn't all about hitting the right notes, it comes to 3 things the emotion/intent, dynamics, voice tone/ color. if you have no emotion towards the song it becomes meaningless tune and words to the ear. If you just focus on really enjoying the song and singing your heart out while also really meaning each word you speak out. You will not only see the difference in how you take music but how other people take it as well. - Best Regards The Bacon Man

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

@Bossimbacon Thank you! :)

OpenStudy (bossimbacon):

Of Course! Fellow musicians need to have each other backs!

OpenStudy (quin100):

OMG it was sooo beautiful

OpenStudy (adamgrimm):

tis was beautiful young lady, but has thou thought of drinking ze water before thou started to record? (i could here you swallow it XD )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (cicilybailey14):

Love seeing talent :) I would work on breathing though!

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

@quin100 Thanks :D

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

@adamgrimm lol yes I know that was why I said "Water" so there wouldn't be just this weird noise XD

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

@marmar123456 Thanks!

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

@cicilybailey14 Yeah I need to work on that XD

Atsie (atsie):

You totally made me smile. Your voice has like an adorable vibe to it with this hidden power :) Now here are a few things I want to point out. When your singing your lower notes, you tend to falter a tad. An example of this is when your singing the part "your married n-o-o-o-ow" I'll give two specifics as to why this might be. Firstly, Adele herself is widely known for her skipping of octaves. She doesn't just raise her voice and then raise it again. She raises it, and then raises it higher then what should have been originally raised. She does the same with lower notes. In Someone Like You she does this with her relaxed middling range and then drops it to a lower note. You aren't able to skip octaves well enough at this point, but you will once you've practiced enough and have had the proper teaching (aka Roger Burnley) ;) Secondly, your lower notes aren't rounded enough. As in they aren't as full as they should be. I'm doing my best to not compare you to the Queen herself, but I think I could hear that somehow getting better. When you drop to a lower note, it sounds like it just sits there and then dies off slightly. Everyone's notes are different, but yours should get better over time. Just remember to hold onto it fully and then stop and proceed with your next part. With that being said though..... I CAN HEAR A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR TONE!!! You sound a little more clearer than usual, and I might add that I was TOTALLY shocked when you hit the chorus of that song. Thats not an easy part to sing, but you did it so well. This is just the beginning. You've got a journey to travel, and all the ups and downs will be your best teacher! Keep it up!!!! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your voice is beautiful, but I think you should try a smaller ranged song that doesn't go so high or low.

Atsie (atsie):

NEVERMIND... I"LL FIND SOMEONE LIKE YOU! *literally am singing* ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sing "I Dare You" by Bea Miller, I think it fits your range better.

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww THANK YOU MY TWIN!!!! I'll try to remember all of that amazing advice! XD "I WISH NOTHING BUT THE BEEEEEESSST FOR YOOUUUUUU" @Atsie

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

I love Bea Miller!! @corig And your probably right about it fitting my range better. I'd like to work on expanding my range though so that's why I'm practicing songs like this :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i kinda want to hear you sing that i think you would rock it

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

@corig Lol thanks! XD I'll tag you when I do :)

Atsie (atsie):

Anytime beautiful!! @ayeedomo "SOMTIMES IT LASTS IN LOVE SOMETIMES IT HURTS INSTEA---AAD"

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

"SOMETIMES IT LASTS IN LOVE BUT SOMETIMES IT HURTS INSTEEEEEEEEEAAaaaaaddd" Adele has flawless voice XD @Atsie

Atsie (atsie):

She is flawless. She is boss! :D @ayeedomo "I HATE TO TURN UP OUT OF THE BLUE UNINVITED BUT I COULDN"T STAY AWAY COULD FIGHT IT"

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

BOSS! MICHELLE OBAMA! PURSE ON HAND WE GETTING OPRAH DOLLARS! ^lol "BUT I, COULDN'T STAY AWAY, I COULDN'T FIGHT IT I'D HOPED YOU'D SEE MY FACE, AND THAT YOU'D BE REMINDED THAT FOR MEEEEEE...." @Atsie

Atsie (atsie):

I think its "purse all heavy" XD But close enough! "EVERYDAY IS PAYDAY. SWIPE MA CARD DO THE NAY_NAY!" "IT ISN"T OVVVVVVAAARR!"

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

"YOU TALKIN TO A LADAY" "NEVAMIND I'LL FIND, SOMEONE LIKE YOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUU" ^ Fun Fact: I originally was going to sing rolling in the deep, but then I got too frustrated because I couldn't sing it right XD @Atsie

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

It sounded more like: "ROLLING IN THE DEEEEE-HGBISFIOAQHROIEQHRUGC"

Atsie (atsie):

AWW SNAP! We are in a lyric rhythm! "C-O-N-F-I-D-E-N-T THATS ME I"M CONFIDENT! DON"T WANT YO COMPLIMENTS USE COMMON SENSE!" "I WISH NOTHING BUT THE BEST FOR YOUUUUU_UUU!" HAHAA!!! I've never heard it sung that way before! Someday you are going to be able to sing. Just give your voice some time and keep practicing! "THERE"S A FIRE, STARTING IN MA HEART. REACHING A FEVER PITCH ITS BRINGIN ME OUT THE DARK"

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Wow yep, lots o lyrics XD "I"M ON MY MICHELLE OBAMA< SHHHHHHH SHUT YO MOUTH BOY I THINK YOU KNOW WHO RUN THIS HOUSE" "DON'T FORGET ME, I BEG, I REMEMBER YOU SAAAAID" "REACHING A FEVER PITCH AND IT'S BRINGING ME OUT THE DARK" ^How does she come up with such amazing lyrics though??? @Atsie

Atsie (atsie):

"AIN"T THIRSTY FOR NO BAE" *cries because I can't find someone like the someone in Adele's song* "SOMETIMES IT LASTS IN LOVE SOMETIMES IT HURTS...." Well, she's got imagination and someone helps her write those lyrics probably to. By the way have you ever questioned how someone can set fire to the rain??

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Hmm, not really XD Maybe if the rain was gasoline? @Atsie

Atsie (atsie):

Hmm, then I could understand that :P

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

Which three ordered pairs complete the table to give solutions of the equation y = –5x? A. (–2, –10), (0, 0), and (2, 10) B. (–2, –10), (0, 0), and (2, –10) C. (–2, 10), (0, –5), and (2, –10) D. (–2, 10), (0,0), and (2, –10)

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Which one do you think it is?

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

umm c?

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

So y = -5x That means whatever x is, you multiply it by -5 So the x values are: -2 0 2 -2 x -5 = 10 0 x -5 = 0 2 x -5 = -10

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

ok

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

(-2, 10) (0, 0) (2, -10)

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

so d?

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

yep.

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

thank you so much lol
