Medal And Fan :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which of the following is an advantage of buying a home? A.)You can invest in property. B.)You need to pay fewer up–front costs. C.)You don't need to buy insurance.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am thinking B. What do you think?

OpenStudy (comrad):

B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have a few more questions to ask then i will give you a medal Is that fine?

OpenStudy (comrad):

You definitely need to buy House insurance. Investing in property has nothing to do with owning a house. Thus, your answer is B!

OpenStudy (comrad):

Fire away!

hartnn (hartnn):

B is true, but not an advantage. Investment is an advantage :)

OpenStudy (comrad):

@hartnn is correct on this one. I didn't think about that one. Sorry, it's early.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is a security deposit? A.)a monthly cost to protect landlords against nonpayment B.)a one–time, up–front payment to protect landlords against nonpayment C.) a yearly payment to protect landlords against nonpayment I am saying B.) Cause i remember hearing it,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When my teacher explained it

OpenStudy (comrad):

THIS ONE IS B. I KNOW IT AS A FACT!!!

hartnn (hartnn):

yes, the 2nd one is B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, Is it because when you rent an apartment or whatever it protects you from whatever damages you made to get charged with?

OpenStudy (comrad):

essentially

hartnn (hartnn):

i think it does not protect, if you do a damage, the owner cuts it from your security deposit

OpenStudy (comrad):

Yeah. You don't get your security deposit back if you don't pay or anything is damaged. If you have good credit you can typically get out of paying a security deposit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay, thank you guys :) . that is good to know half of this cause im getting my first apartment this year :)

OpenStudy (comrad):

Nice! I feel bad for the first question tho, I shouldn't have gotten it wrong :(. I take Economy and I have an A in the class. working too fast I suppose.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, no, it is no problem. Really , and yeah, its easy but when the questions come I feel frazzled. Dont worry, i am in the same boat. :)
