List A poor grades fighting with friends temporary illness List B family history of depression traumatic incident prolonged illness List C high expectations overeating feelings of irritability and anger Which list includes several causes of depression? List A List B List C
All of them do have cause depression, what are you thinking? I am thinking list B, the reason why is because there is a family history of depression ( more likely to be passed on), there is also a prolonged illness. We don't know what that illness is, but it could be something like anxiety or bipolar which is tied to depression. If there was a traumatic incident that person could start feeling depressed and think it is there fault, and/or keeping replaying it in their mind (like ptsd).
I'd go with List B too. List A and C have more symptoms that actual causes.
List A and C are not necessarily depression causing, they can just be simple ol' `upset` if you ask me. Stuff like that comes and goes in everyone's lives. Whereas medical depression is the result of an imbalance in the neurotransmitter's in the brain, so I would also go with B. The body is very self-sustaining, imbalances are rarely created by everyday things...it takes something big for that to happen. Often times people say 'I'm depressed', all that means is 'I'm upset' or 'I'm bored to the brink of upset'. Medical depression is something else all together and is quite a serious condition. Even if such a person wants to stay happy, it takes quite some time to recover from their depression. Now don't get me wrong, regular ol' incidents can incite depression too, but ever so rarely..
