What factors affect the speed of rotations of a lawn sprinkler?

well for starters the ambient temperature will actually affect the size of certain parts and if they are moving parts then it will affect the rotation also friction is another big factor if the sprinkler lacks lubrication then it will most deffinatly move slow than if it was well lubricated and one more thing would be the water pressure actualy reaching the sprinkler the greater the pressure the faster it will spin and the lower the pressure you will have a lower spin rate. oh and also the surrounds such as grass height or approcimation to to a shrub and then there is wind which creates ressistance escpecially if the wind is strong
