Question||The controlling statement is one sentence that______. A.Gives the details of your argument B.sums up the main idea of the writing C.gets the reader interested in your argument D.lists the examples that support your main points

MsBrains (ms-brains):

@Atsie @Awolflover1 @Miss.Rose Can you guys please help me? I'd really appreciate it!

Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

What do you think?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

D

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Or B

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

Why do you think that?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Because a controlling statement is something that breaks down your main idea in three ways..?

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

I believe it's B or D because it like introduces your topic, but if it lists the main idea in three ways, then it should be D

MsBrains (ms-brains):

This is what I read on the web "The Control Statements are used for controlling the Execution of the program there are the three control statements those are break, goto, continue." That was why I thought it was D, but B sounds about right to me too

MsBrains (ms-brains):

What do you think guys?

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Hmmm, I looked it up too, and it's saying that it sums up what you're going to talk about. The multiple choice answers are like all the same, I hate that lol. I'd go B

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Okay, Thank you Marie! Would you mind helping with more?

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Of course, I don't mind! :)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I think it is D or A

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

I'd say D because your thesis is there to focus your main idea into a sentence or two.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Maybe C

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Yes, C, I was taught no less than 4, no more than 8.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I think it's A

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Yes, A. :)

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

One of the moderators, just messaged me, saying that if I keep giving direct answers, I could get banned...

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Awe man. You're not giving direct answers you are just checking mine. :(

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

I guess that's the same thing to them :/

MsBrains (ms-brains):

You wanna try doing this the "proper" way? Even though we are doing nothing wrong. .-.

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Yeah, let's do the proper way

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I think this one is B, But I am not sure, can you please check if it is?

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Yes, it's B because the introduction is the first paragraph so the conclusion being the last paragraph, it'd have to be opposite. :)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I think this is D, because it's close to the ending.

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

It's A because when you start the conclusion, you have to restate the thesis.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I think A

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Correct. I think so too

MsBrains (ms-brains):

B?

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Yes :)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

A?

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

The effect is after it happened, so the change, so what's the word for why something occurred. I'm terrible at hints omg

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

What comes before effect

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

__ and effect

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Cause!

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Yes :)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

B

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Yes :)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

B?

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

B

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Awesome! Thanks so much Mar!!

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

You're very welcome! :D

MsBrains (ms-brains):

If you need to do something else, I totally understand. But if you aren't busy, mind helping me some more?

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

I can help you out a little bit more :D

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Okay! I'll tag you

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Okay :)
