Friends have an effect on what people do or say. True or False?
True. A lot of people are heavily influenced by their friends and the way they act.
It can be both. I know some people who rely on their friends but then others who don't listen to their friends at all bc they're independent. Influence plays a big part but it's not good to do or not do things your friends say bc you need to be yourself.
I'd say it's true...because we tend to surround ourselves with like minded people, with similar morals etc. So if your friend suggests something, chances are, even if you didn't think of it before, you won't think its a bad idea. What people say or do - I believe - is a direct result of their environment. Even if you're independent as anything...your friends will definitely affect you. If you don't like something they do - you'll abstain from it. If you like what they do - you'll embrace it, so on and so forth. But the end result is they will have an effect on you...and that's what the question asked - at least that's what I saw it as. Now if the question was worded differently I'd probably go with simplymarie_x's explanation...what do you think @simplymarie_x?
