I need more opinions because people keep telling me it's not dimensional analysis but others are telling me it is. PLEASE HELP. Use dimensional analysis to find the number of cm/min in 5.8 m/hr. Show your work and be sure to calculate the answer in the correct number of significant figures.

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

It is dimensional analysis. You use Dimensional analysis basically whenever you need to convert a rate into a different rate, such as miles per hr to feet per second.

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

So, in this case, you need to convert 5.8 meters per hour into centimeters per minute

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

How would I do that showing my work and everything? That's what I'm stuck on :/

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Okay, how many centimeters in a meter?

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

100 cm in a meter and 60 mins in an hour

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

yep, so this is how |dw:1452715131677:dw|to use dimensional analysis
