I need help with this question. Even someone who can talk about it with me. 2)Look back into history. Share two examples in American history of how the people of America shifted their ideologies from one set of beliefs to another. Why did this happen? What were the political, economic and social conditions that led to this shift?

OpenStudy (surana):

I'm thinking the shift ideology of "American Isolationism" to "Protectors of Earth" in the wake of the US joining in the Second World War is a huge case of shifting ideologies. As for why it happened, well, the biggest, most devastating conflict ever to come to mankind's history came up. That's reason enough. Political/Social/Economics things would involve declarations of "Peace in our Time", the League of Nations, unwillingness to do anything other than mope around with the depression and a bunch of bad choices. And of course the Great Depression. That's a big one.
