zarkam21 (zarkam21):

If the measure of one angle is 2x and the measure of its complement is 6x, what is the value of x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

adam dont give awnsers u r suposed to help them get it not give it away

Complementary angles add up to 90 degrees. So... if you have one angle being 2x and its complement being 6x. We also know ANGLE1 + ANGLE2 = 90 degrees. Then... 6x + 2x = 8x = 90 degrees. Can you solve for x knowing 8x = 90?

zarkam21 (zarkam21):

11.25?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x + 6x = 90 degrees 8x = 90 x = 90/8 = 11.25 degrees i found this on yahoo

Sounds good to me, @zarkam21 .
