A model rocket is launched with an initial upward velocity of 125/ft. The rocket's height h (in feet) after t seconds is given by the following. h = 125t - 16t Find all values of t for which the rocket's height is 71 feet.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first off add 16 to both sides to get rid of 16t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, then what? it would be: 16 + h = 125t, but wouldn't it make more sense to subtract 125t by 16t?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try it your way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

h = 125t - 16t h = 109t

im so confused!

OpenStudy (anonymous):
