2 to the right means 12.46 -> 1246. But that would be times 12.46 * 100. Anytime you use a multiple of 10. Here's what you do. Count the number of zeroes. Then if it is multiplication, move the decimal right. If division, move it left. So knowing this, can you tell me what you would do to 12.46 / 100?
