Hey there!!
We need to multiply both sides by the reciprocal of 1/6 so that way we can isolate 'r'
Do you know how to find the reciprocal of a number?
You are solving for r. r is being divided by 6. To find r, you need to multiply the left side by 6. Since the rule is that you need to do the same operation to both sides of an equation, you must multiply both sides of the equation by 6.
