The first amendment allows us to speak freely and without worry of getting in trouble. Also it allows us to practice our religion freely too! It supports are freedom in alot of ways. It gives us the power to change and effect societies or influence OUR beliefs. If we believe the national government is doing something wrong, or not right, we have the power to speak up. To rally. To defend our beliefs verbally. As long we do not do any threatening or harassment, we are granted this amendment.
