Stat Question: Carl Cornfield has been wondering whether he should plant white corn this year. He decides to sample 100 customers. 38% say they would purchase white corn. Carl wants to have a 95% confidence interval for this proportion. For my answers I got (I think they're correct?) The estimate is 38% The reliability factor is 1.96 The Standard error is .05 But I do NOT understand how to get the confidence interval. Can anyone help me?

OpenStudy (igigighjkl):

"In statistics, a confidence interval (CI) is a type of interval estimate of a population parameter." if you look it up you can find out what it means.
