which is the cross section of a cylinder that is intersected by a plane that is perpendicular to the two bases

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Is it a "Right" "Circular" cylinder?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can u explain to me why

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Why what? I asked a question. The answer to my question makes a difference. You said, "cylinder". That is not enough information. If you had said a "right circular cylinder", then it would be clear that such cross-sections are circles. Without that specification, we just don't know. Is there a drawing?

Here u go

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

No, that's a sphere and it doesn't have bases. Try again.

That was the wrong question but this is the one
