Okay first step is to subtract 5 from both sides! When you do that you should get 
$3q = –2q + 15$

When you do this you should get $5q = 15$

You don't have to subtract that first. I just did. :)

Lastly divide 5 on both sides. So $5$ divided by $5$ is 1. What is $15$ divided by 5?
